Not one to be upset by its competitors, ASUS has released its newest model of the Eee PC series, the Eee PC 900. You may have seen our coverage of the launch of the Eee PC just recently, so you're probably aware of the newer features the Eee PC 900sports, such as the 1.3-megapixel camera and the larger 8.9-inch screen. ASUS has also increased the storage capacity of the 900 series to around 20GB for the Linux version and 12GB for the Windows version.

Asus has definitely got themselves a winner with the Eee 900, it's a fantastic refresh of the 701! Your Eee will no longer need to span for programs that needs a minimum resolution of 800x600 to run (for instance, HDTach required that resolution -_-). Other improvements like the multi-touch pad provides a larger area for navigation, an improved webcam for high resolution videos and pictures and most importantly, a huge increase in SSD space over the 4/8GB 701s.
